Our client, an insurance company located in Lisbon, are looking for a Underwriting Assistance to join the team.
Principais responsabilidades
The Underwriting Assistance will perform the following responsibilities:
- Entry and processing of policies on the underwriting systems;
- Recording and matching of cash receipts;
- Processing settlements;
- Communication with brokers and capacity providers;
- Preparing monthly bordereaux;
- Work closely with underwriters in the UK and Portugal;
- Effective operation of risk controls, adhere to underwriting compliance checks, monitor premium closings and credit control;
- Preparing quarterly accounts bordereaux for capacity providers;
- Claims administration.

They are looking for candidates with the following profile:
- Education Degree;
- Attention to detail;
- Analytical mind and capacity to absord information;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Proactive individual and team player;
- Fluent in English;
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Insurance (mandatory).
