Our client (insurance) is a Company in the Insurance Sector that is recruiting an Underwriting Administrator to join their Lisbon office (Lisbon). The successful candidate will support claims processing and compliance, as outlined below.
Principais responsabilidades
The Underwriting Administrator will perform the following responsibilities:
- Entry and processing of policies on the underwriting systems;
- Recording and matiching of cash receipts;
- Processing settlements;
- Communication with brokers and capacity providers;
- Preparing montly bordereaux;
- Work closely with underwriters in the UK and Portugal;
- Effective operation of risk controls, adhere to underwriting compliance checks, monitor premium closingsand credit control;
- Preparing quarterly accounts bordereaux for capacity providers;
- Claims administration.
Perfil desejado
We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
- Education Degree;
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Insurance;
- Attention to detail;
- Analytical mind and capacity to absorb information;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Proactive individual and team player;
- Fluent in English;
- Italian or Greek speaker would be an advantage.
