Adecco Recruitment is recruiting an Audit & Internal Controls Manager for a premium client with a new SSC located in Porto.

 

What you will be doing with your team

Designing and Implementing Controls

• Developing and documenting policies and procedures. 
• Ensuring controls are in place for financial reporting, operational processes, regulatory compliance, and fraud prevention. 
• Collaborating with different departments to establish and maintain effective control frameworks. 
• Integrating internal controls into new processes and systems. 

Monitoring and Evaluating Controls and internal audits 

• Conducting regular internal audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of controls.
• Identifying control gaps, weaknesses, and potential risks.
• Evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of key controls.
• Tracking remediation of identified control deficiencies.

Risk Management 

• Identifying and assessing risks associated with business processes and operations.
• Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensuring that appropriate controls are in place to address identified risks.
• Proactively identifying emerging risks and trends.

Compliance 

• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Monitoring and reporting on compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinating with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
• Developing and delivering training on compliance-related matters.
