Systems Integration Developer (M/F)
Join Our Clients Team as a Systems Integration Developer!
Are you passionate about healthcare systems and interoperability solutions? This is your opportunity to support innovative projects in a dynamic IT team. Our client is looking for a skilled Systems Integration Developer to reinforce their IT team in Lisbon or Porto, where youll act as a key technical and functional support resource for implementing and maintaining interoperability solutions for healthcare systems.
Locations Lisbon or Porto
Work Mode On-site (Monday to Friday, 900 AM 600 PM)
Direct contract with the client
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze functional requirements.
- Assist in implementing interoperability solutions, including integrations between clinical systems (EHR, HIS, LIS) and external platforms.
- Configure interfaces and map data between systems, applying healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and IHE.
- Conduct functional testing of interfaces and integration workflows, ensuring compliance with defined requirements.
- Provide technical support to users and partners, troubleshooting connectivity, data exchange, and integration flows.
- Develop and maintain technical and functional documentation for implemented integrations and interfaces.
- Perform first-line maintenance on the interoperability bus, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in healthcare interoperability standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM).
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and workflows, such as HIS, EHR, LIS, etc.
- Basic experience with integration tools like Mirth Connect or Orion Rhapsody is highly valued.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in the field of healthcare interoperability.
- Technical proficiency in English.
