Responsibilities:

  • Administer, maintain and support Windows Server environments with a strong focus on Active Directory.
  • Manage AD objects, including users, groups, computers, GPOs and permissions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AD, DNS, DHCP and authentication services.
  • Administer, maintain and support Microsoft Exchange (Online and/or On-Prem) and Office 365 environments.
  • Ensure system availability, performance, security and compliance with internal standards.
  • Perform regular system updates, patching, backups and recovery tests.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security and support teams on ongoing operations and projects.
  • Document configurations, procedures and operational processes.


You must have:

  • Proven experience as a Windows System Administrator with hands-on Active Directory management.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD, GPOs, DNS, DHCP and authentication mechanisms.
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell) for automation and administration tasks.
  • Proven experience administering Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, Exchange Hybrid, mail flow, security and compliance features.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in structured environments and following operational procedures.
  • European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency.
  • Availability to work on-site two to three times per week.


Plus:

  • Knowledge in cloud administrator technologies like Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
