About the role:  

We currently have an opportunity for a Technology Innovation & Data (TID) Specialist to join our team! Reporting to our IT Assistant Director of TID and the Senior Director of TID, you will be responsible for assisting in leading the daily IT operation for the hotel.  

What you will do:  

  • Ensuring critical systems, specifically Front Office Property Management System, Call Accounting, HSIA, PABX and Food & Beverage Point of Sales systems are available twenty-four (24) hours per day. 

  • Establishing and maintaining operational procedures and hardware familiarization. 

  • Replacing and administering end-user hardware, inventory and stock management 

  • System Administration, including management of user accounts and security groups, user configuration, troubleshooting access problems and preparing on-site end-user documentation. 

  • Assisting in performance monitoring, operating system upgrades and troubleshooting. 

  • End user support and administration of Helpdesk System (ServiceNow) 

  • Completing the daily administrative tasks to ensure business continuity 

  • Providing system support services, including service outage diagnosis, troubleshooting and restoration of service, virus protection management. 

  • Ensuring the deployment of the core security tools. 

  • Maintaining and promoting the Four Seasons core technology standards as outlined in the Four Seasons IT Core Standards. 

  • Assisting in the coordination of new acquisitions and major projects as required. 

  • Participating in property-level, corporate-initiated technology implementations. 

  • Patch management for all hosted systems and local applications 

  • Providing direct guest support and ensuring service quality in guest rooms, function rooms and public areas in the hotel. 

  • Maintaining in-room guest technology equipment, (TV, VOIP phone, WiFi, AV, in-room iPad) 

  • Administering Office365 licenses and cloud services 

  • Remote access management - VPN support and hosting remote support sessions for providers 

  • Assisting in the process of systems backup and recovery procedures. 

  • Keeping contact with local and international third-party vendors and with Corporate Helpdesks. 

  • Providing 24 / 7 support for mission critical systems. 

  • Assisting with network support and cybersecurity, Active Directory maintenance, Server Infrastructure maintenance, Network Infrastructure maintenance – wired & wireless, Network protection and failover tools implementation (Firewall, web security, multihoming devices, etc). 

  • Assisting IT Manager and Assistant Director of IT with Corporate and local projects and audits. 

What you bring:  

A technical background, MSCE or strong networking skills, education and/or experience supporting complex networks, ability to assist the Assistant Director of IT and the IT Manager with the day to day running of the IT department, an understanding of the purpose and reasons for internal controls, and ideally have familiarity with hotel quality and service standards with a strong commitment to service. 

You should have the highest level of integrity and transparency, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams, and a proactive and inquisitive mind set to develop problem solving, decision making, and strategic thinking skills. All applicants must possess the legal right to work in Spain and have fluency in English and Spanish.
