What will you do?

• Working in a team in the development of applications and information systems;
• Working with Agile methodologies;
• Coding new features, improvements, and bug fixings;
• Coming up with alternative solutions, workarounds, or shortcuts;
• Testing, debugging, and documentation.

What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an ICT-related field;
• Minimum professional experience of 3 years as a software engineer;
• Strong knowledge and experience with Java frameworks (e.g., SpringBoot, Quarkus, Jakarta EE) and related standards (e.g., CDI, JPA, JAXB, JAX-RS);
• Experience with Javascript/Typescript and React (or Vue.js);
• Cloud-native development mindset;
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience with Akka Actors Model is also a plus;
• Good understanding of relational databases systems. Experience with NoSQL systems is a plus;
• Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Maven, GitLab, and Sonar;
• Knowledge of design patterns and maintainable code principles, with a focus on writing testable code;
• Willing to learn and adopt best practices and emerging technologies and solutions;
• Team spirit and orientation towards excellence;
• Fluency in English and Portuguese is mandatory.

You need to be based in Portugal, preferably Lisbon or Coimbra.
