Join AXA Group Operations as a Senior Consultant specializing in Appian solutions. We are looking for an expert tech lead with significant experience in complex Appian projects to support our development team and facilitate the implementation of new project scopes across various environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with project managers and key clients to define and refine business processes ;
• Assist users in identifying additional business process opportunities utilizing Appian software ;
• Gather functional and technical system requirements to inform project design ;
• Design and implement BPM-based solutions using Appian BPM software ;
• Write technical specifications for developed solutions ;
• Participate in product testing of delivered solutions to ensure quality and compliance with standards ;
• Follow internal delivery processes and standards throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in designing and implementing BPM or similar solutions (e.g., test automation) ;
• Strong knowledge of consulting methodologies, including process mapping ;
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams ;
• Proficient in database concepts, with experience in major databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL ;
• Expertise in Java development (Java Core 7+) ;
• Proficient in JSON or similar data structures (e.g., XML) ;
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with IDEs such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, or similar ;
• Knowledge of additional technologies/programming languages including SQL, JavaScript, Web Services, and RESTful Services ;
• Troubleshooting expertise from a development perspective ;
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams and multicultural environments.

-Hybrid position in Lisbon (2 days p/week in-office).
