You will be part of a cross-functional team with team members from both IT and business, and a strong focus on team collaboration. You should expect (and be motivated by) that pair programming (and possibly mob programming) will be a central part of your day-to-day work.
Your new Role
As a Software Engineer, Java you will be responsible for: - Design and implement microservices in an event-based and data streaming paradigm;
- Develop, maintain and support solutions and Java-based applications;
- Design, implement and enhance features;
- Optimize and operate monitoring tools;
- Create and update technical and procedural documentation;
- Guarantee to follow the best practices;
- Ensure software quality and efficiency.
What you will need to be succeed
To be succeed as a Software Engineer, Java you will need: - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field;
- + 5 years of backend development experience (or full stack);
- Experience in code review processes and collaborative debugging;
- Proficiency in Java and SpringBoot;
- Proficiency in event driven and micro services architectures;
- Proficiency in working with cloud services and K8s/Docker;
- Experience with version control systems (GitHub);
- Experience with front-end development would be plus (preferably VueJs);
- Ability to mentor junior developers to contribute to a shared knowledge;
- Ambitious and motivated individual to work in a collaborative environment;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Fluency in English.
