Description

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Porto Service Center, promoting a high-performance and compliant culture;
  • Build, lead, and develop a strong local management structure;
  • Own workforce planning, including hiring, onboarding, and team structuring;
  • Set leadership standards, drive engagement, and support continuous professional development;
  • Ensure consistent service excellence aligned with the global operating model;
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Porto site and group functions;
  • Oversee local administrative, financial, and operational governance;
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders while ensuring compliance with Portuguese regulations;
  • Own end-to-end operational performance and KPI delivery;
  • Translate performance insights into targeted improvement actions;
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory, internal control, and group policy requirements;
  • Drive continuous improvement through standardization, automation, and best-practice adoption;
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives such as system implementations, transitions, and service expansions.

Profile

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of senior-level experience in Operations, Business Management within regulated, SSC, or BPO environments;
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, fund structures (preferred);
  • Proven exposure to BPO and back-/mid-office operations;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change across systems, processes, and organizations;
  • Strong people leadership with a focus on performance, engagement, and talent retention;
  • Hands-on, results-driven mindset combined with strategic thinking;
  • High resilience, strong prioritization skills, and execution focus in fast-paced environments;
  • Pragmatic problem-solver with a solution-oriented approach;
  • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels;
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing capabilities;
  • Knowledge of fund accounting systems is an advantage (e.g., SimCorp Dimension);
  • Full professional fluency in English and Portuguese, including negotiation skills.
