Aubay Portugal is a multinational French company, in Portugal since 2007. We have offices in Lisbon and Oporto and we are a specialized consultant in Management, Implementation, Development and Maintenance of Information Systems. What are you going to do?

• Managing the availability, reliability and performance of the firewall service and coordinating with network security, and IT teams to implement firewall rules, policies and security controls;
• Overseeing request, demand, incident, problem and change management for firewall related services and coordinating with lead architects, Service Providers, and other relevant services to ensure cohesive implementation;
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external audits and security best practices including the enforcement of Zero-trust principles and segmentation strategies;
• Collaborating with firewall vendor (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, etc.) to keep the infrastructure updated, as well as managing license renewal, support contract and vendor SLAs;
• Leading firewall-related security incidents and breach investigations, and troubleshooting firewall issues;
• Develop overall processes documentation strategy and assure they are fully documented and updated.

What are we looking for?

• Mid-level understanding of current firewall technologies from major vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Checkpoint, etc.;
• Familiarity with Next-Generation Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, proxy services, and segmentation strategies;
• Solid knowledge of network security principles, including Zero Trust Architecture;
• Basic understanding of compliance and regulatory standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR;
• Previous experience as a Service Manager handling security-related IT topics;
• General knowledge of firewall management and operations in both IT and OT environments;
• Experience in designing and optimizing network infrastructures and firewall environments;
• Familiarity with the ITIL framework and service management best practices;
• Experience in managing SLAs, KPIs, and Service Availability for security-related services;
• Ability to coordinate migrations, patches, upgrades, and handle lifecycle management for security services in complex IT environments;
• Understanding of complex connectivity and firewall solutions within LAN network segments;
• Fluency in written and spoken English (minimum B2 level).
