Overview:

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated Senior VMware Systems Engineer to start immediately.

Key Responsabilities:

• Responsibility for planning, implementing, and maintaining our VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vSAN infrastructures.
• Managing and optimizing Cloud Director environments to support private cloud solutions.
• Ensuring highly available, scalable, and high-performance system architectures on VMware-based platforms.
• Further development and automation of system management and deployment processes.
• Error analysis, troubleshooting, and problem resolution across the infrastructure.
• Close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to meet customer infrastructure needs.
• Conducting performance analyses and capacity planning to optimize system resources.
• Supporting the planning and execution of upgrades and migrations within the VMware infrastructure.

Your Profile:

• A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in administering and operating VMware vSphere, ESXi, vSAN, and Cloud Director.
• In-depth knowledge of configuring and managing virtual machines, storage solutions, and network infrastructures.
• Experience with automation tools such as PowerCLI or Ansible for VMware environments.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues in complex IT infrastructures.
• Solid knowledge in backup and disaster recovery, as well as implementing high-availability solutions.
• A team player with strong communication skills and a self-reliant, structured working style.
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
