Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer:

For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer for a long contract based in Portugal.

Its paying well and my client can interview asap!

Must-Have Skills

• Test execution, defect management, and daily status reporting
• Automation testing using Robot Framework, Playwright, Cypress
• Hands-on experience with Postman, Bruno, or equivalent API validation tools
• Experience with cloud-native and microservices architectures
• Test data management and environment strategy
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, SQL, DevOps practices, and version control (Git/GitHub)
• Strong understanding of the Agile development lifecycle
• Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools (self-healing, test generation, analytics) - added advantage
• Good communication skills for client interaction and collaboration in Agile & DevOps environments

Good-to-Have Skills

• Telecom domain knowledge (OSS/BSS)
• Understanding of non-functional test suite design and implementation
• Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud testing experience
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies as required by the client (open-source ecosystem)
• Exposure to AI-driven automated testing

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Own the testing strategy, planning, and execution, with a strong focus on automation and AI-driven quality practices.
2. Drive the transition from manual testing to automated and intelligent testing, including framework and AI tool selection and evolution.
3. Act as the primary decision-maker for testing approaches and quality improvements for backlog items and tasks.
4. Provide team leadership, mentoring, and training for testers.
5. Collaborate closely with Client, TCS Test Lead, and PO/TPOs.
6. Coach and empower team members to take ownership of quality, ensuring shared responsibility for testing and quality.
