Description
Technical Project Delivery:
* Lead multi-stream migration projects, including hybrid setups involving Azure, IBM Cloud, VMware, and legacy environments.
* Coordinate dependencies between infrastructure, application, network, and security workstreams.
* Ensure effective execution of data and workload migration approaches.
Risk Management and Quality Assurance:
* Proactively identify and manage technical and business risks including migration downtime, data integrity, compliance gaps, and application dependencies.
* Conduct architecture risk assessments and contingency planning with engineering teams.
* Drive adoption of quality gates, performance benchmarks, and rollback criteria in each phase of the migration lifecycle.
* Ensure full traceability between requirements, test cases, and deployment outcomes.
Stakeholder and Vendor Management:
* Engage C-level stakeholders, business unit leaders, and technical SMEs to align outcomes and manage competing priorities.
Profile
* 10+ years of progressive experience in large-scale IT infrastructure and Data Center programs, with at least 5 years in program management of Data Center migration initiatives.
* Strong technical knowledge across:
* Data Center technologies (e.g., compute, storage, networking)
* Operating platforms (x86/Windows/Linux, IBM Power, AIX)
* Cloud and hybrid environments (Azure, IBM Cloud, VMware, Hyper-V)
* Demonstrated success in multi-cloud migrations.
* Deep understanding of ITIL, operational readiness, and service transition processes.
* Proven experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and global delivery teams.
* Expert in project and program methodologies: PMP, Prince2, and hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery.
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive decisions with KPIs, OKRs, and data-driven insights.
