• Manage and lead, from a technical and town planning point of view, real estate projects (residential, offices and mixed-use) of medium and large size;

Description

• Manage and lead, from a technical and town planning point of view, real estate projects (residential, offices and mixed-use) of medium and large size;
• Define with the design team (architect, MEP and stability engineers, etc.) the project characteristics (technical characteristics, optimization of the area, certifications, budget, etc.) based on the standards and the experience of the company;
• Close follow up of the licensing project with the design team;
• Organize the tender process for the selection of the suppliers (architect, MEP advisors, stability engineers, general contractor, etc.) and negotiate contractual aspects ;
• Coordinate the project with all stakeholders during the execution;
• Supervise on-site construction and participate in the meetings with the on-site teams;
• Provide regular progress report on the project, highlighting potential risks and providing mitigation actions;
• Manage and control the budget, including resources, deadlines and quality standards;
• Organize timely reporting on the evolution of the projects to the Country Director and the Belgian Management.
• Technical Due diligence and cost analysis of real estate investment opportunities.
• Advice on relations with regulatory and local authorities and external communication;

Profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with proven experience as Project Manager/Building Site Coordinator;
• Minimum 10 years of experience as Project Manager in the Real Estate and Construction sector;
• Self-motivation, multi-tasking and autonomy are strong skills for the position;
• Good negotiation skills and ability to create and maintain solid and lifelong relationships with all parties;
• Team-player, flexible and versatile and willing to join a small dynamic team which can benefit from the support of a larger international company.
• International experience in project management will be considered as a great asset
• Portuguese (native), English (fluent), French (plus).
