We are looking for an Operational Manager to oversee a growing team within the Client Administration Department in Lisbon. The successful candidate will manage an initial team of 9 to 10 people, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, improving digital client support, and ensuring strong team performance.

Principais responsabilidades

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance.
  • Set clear objectives, provide feedback, and support career development within the team.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging best practices and continuous improvement.

Operational Efficiency & Digital Development:

  • Support the implementation of new digital tools to enhance client communication and streamline administrative processes.
  • Monitor workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement process optimisations.
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making and efficiency gains.

Stakeholder Coordination & Communication:

  • Act as the primary contact between the Lisbon team and UK management, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Compliance, Quality Assurance, and IT, to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Participate in regular meetings and contribute to business planning discussions.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audit processes and work with compliance teams to maintain high operational standards.
  • Identify and mitigate potential operational risks.

Perfil desejado

  • Fluency in English (C1/C2 level) is essential.
  • 4+ years of experience in a supervisory or middle management role within client administration, financial services, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong people management skills, with a focus on team development and performance.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
