Quadrante is looking to strengthen its Industry Business Unit by recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Industrial HVAC division, based at our Porto office.

With both national and international projects of varying scales and typologies, Quadrante offers a unique professional experience in the Portuguese engineering market.

Responsibilities:

• Develop HVAC projects ensuring full compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and client requirements
• Design efficient, robust, and optimized technical solutions aligned with client needs and performance expectations
• Ensure compliance with defined project deadlines and delivery milestones
• Plan work activities and monitor team productivity, ensuring high levels of efficiency and profitability
• Manage and mentor the assigned team, fostering technical development and performance growth
• Develop and implement tools, methodologies, and best practices to improve productivity and overall division performance

Profile:

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Advanced proficiency in English (mandatory), with the ability to communicate in an international project environment
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in HVAC project development
• Strong knowledge of DesignBuilder for thermal load and energy calculations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit will be considered an asset
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team-oriented mindset
