Manual QA Engineer


We are looking for an experienced and motivated QA ENGINEER to reinforce the team Clienteling

with a focus on iOS App "The View". You will organize, support and coordinate its testing activities. Your work will be primarily focused on testing activities around integrations with Salesforce Customer Services.

You will be working with business and technology stakeholders to understand business requirements, technology architecture, development environments, and test infrastructure. You will define test strategies for the new system capabilities, integrations and data flows (including customers, products, ). You will initially contribute in designing, implementing and executing end-to-end test cases, analyzing test results, and working with business and technology teams to resolve issues. Key activity of the QA ENGINEER role is to design, write and maintain manual non-regression tests, as well to participate in manual test campaigns to validate new features.

You will be part of a cross-functional team that includes stakeholders from business and technical product team. In this role you will liaise directly with Scrum Master, Solution Architect, Developers and Product Owner, and grant the adherence with the Client's architecture, solutions, tools and overall implementation framework. The role requires high level of autonomy in dealing with ambiguity, ability to make justifiable decisions fast, be responsible for quality of your deliverables, have solid understanding of underlying technology, and be adaptable to changes in timelines, scope, focus and priorities. As QA Engineer within your product team you are responsible of the quality of the deliverables to be released and therefore you will have to block any delivery which may decrease the customer experience.

You will operate in a global, multi-maisons environment, engaging with teams at different management levels to ensure seamless integration and performance.


Key Responsibilities


Design test cases to maximize requirement test coverage while optimizing required effort

Prepare test phases in collaboration with the Product/Project team

Run manual test cases and analyze results

Log confirmed and clarified bugs then report those to the rest of the Product/Project team

Help in troubleshooting ongoing Product/Project related issues

Provide test exit reports and present testing results

Maintain Product/Project test referential up to date and ensure it is aligned with corresponding

documentation

Collaborate in Agile manner with Product team participating actively in all ceremonies

Collaborate with support teams to handover all required knowledge about the new data flows and integration

Define test strategy and test plan for the Product/Project

Review functional requirements and approve them for testing by leading definition of acceptance criteria

Ensure that QA Community of Practice frameworks, tools, methodologies, best practices are applied and used consistently throughout teams, while considering adaptations when required


Required Skills and Qualifications:


Experience

+3 years of experience as QA engineer

Proven experience in manual testing for validating new features

Proven history of QA activities with responsibilities for corresponding deliverables

Proven ability to perform end-to-end test

Proven experience in Clienteling domain is strong plus

Experience of working in agile environment with remote teams and stakeholders (developers, business analysts, test managers, product owners )

Development background is a strong plus

Experience of Luxury industry is a plus


Technical Skills

Hands-on experience in web/iOS application management and delivery.

Experience in documenting business requirements and translating them into technical requirements.

Strong understanding of web technologies.


Tooling

Proven experience working with Webservices, REST APIs and Micro Services technologies and

architectures, including test tools (Postman)

Experience in Payment Service Providers modules (for example: Ayden, ) is a strong plus

Experience in logs analysis including monitoring tools (for example Data Dog, AEM client/server

logs)

Experience in GitLab, Bitbucket

Experience on Jira/Zephyr is a plus

Experience in test coverage review is a plus


Soft Skills

Customer oriented, efficient, pragmatic rather than dogmatic, with keen eye for detail and a "can-do" attitude

Able to work both collaboratively and independently while maintaining a high level of productivity

Excellent communication and ability to work with multinational, cross-functional teams.


Education & Language

Bachelor's or Master's degree.

Fluency in English (French or other languages is a plus).
