Your New Company
The company is looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join its team. This role will involve working as part of a cross-functional agile team to develop its new Management platform. 

Your New Role
This person will be part of a small Team dedicated to Machine Learning and Data Science. It is expected that this person will participate in the definition of the ML features for the Product and advise the Product Owner and Head of Software Engineering on new features and solution designs.

• Deliver high quality, scalable Machine Learning systems
• Develop ML Models
• Support EDA
• Participate in code review processes
• Ensure that the code produced meets the company standards
• Participate in Architecture Steering Group (for the MLDS Chapter) 
• Participate in Product Idea Prioritisation
• Support Head of Engineering in producing the Engineering roadmap
• Support project proposals 
• Support customer pilots
• Backlog refinement
• Scrum Master for the team
• Line Management of MLDS Chapter
• Support recruitment activities

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Experience in an Artificial Intelligence related role, such as Machine Learning Engineer, Data Science and/or Data Engineering
• Solid knowledge of the fundamentals of Machine Learning 
• Solid Software Engineering skills, specifically related to designing, implementing and deploying Machine Learning systems in production environments
• Solid working knowledge in software and programming languages, more specifically in Python
• Experience with Machine Learning software frameworks (e.g Scikit-Learn, LightGBM, XGBoost, Pandas, Dask)
• Experience with Deep Learning frameworks (Tensorflow or PyTorch)
• Experience in Data Engineering tools and frameworks, e.g. Pandas, PyArrow, Polars, SQL.
• Ability to apply research outputs (e.g. from research papers) to real-world data and domains
• Knowledge of CI/CD technologies and their application in Machine Learning
• Some knowledge of the domain of application is a plus (e.g. Space, Orbital Dynamics)

Bonus/Nice to have:

• Experience with AWS and Sagemaker
• Experience with ML Ops
• Other programming languages: C#/C++/Java/R
• MSc or PhD in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science
