Multinational company is looking to strengthen its team by hiring an Accountant (m/f/d) in the district of Castelo Branco.

Your new role
As an Accountant, you will be an integral part of our finance team, contributing to the accurate and timely reporting of financial data. 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Support tax preparation activities, including collecting data and preparing initial tax returns.
• Reconciling bank statements and financial records.
• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Participating in audits and providing necessary documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional experience of at least 2 years in the accounting and finance field.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Experience with ERP systems is essential.
• Proficient in English Language.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
