What You'll Be Doing:

• Architect, design, and implement robust backend systems using Java, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, and modern frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the best technical solutions across areas like risk, compliance, accounting, payments, and more.
• Participate hands-on in development, supporting code quality, CI/CD practices, and high availability.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently, while supporting team leads and mentoring developers.
• Participate in technical decision-making, project meetings, and design reviews.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex system challenges with innovative thinking.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
• Proven experience in Java backend development and architecture design.
• Strong expertise in:
• API design, microservices, RESTful services
• CI/CD, DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Databases (SQL & NoSQL)
• Software design patterns and secure application architecture
• Experience in banking systems or domains like risk, financial security, tax, compliance (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex topics clearly.
• Agile mindset and ability to work across multiple teams and priorities.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Cloud deployment on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Data/BI knowledge
• Familiarity with Node.js and server-side JavaScript environments
