Your new Role

The Senior Integration Engineer will be a key member of the Integration Centre of Excellence (CoE), responsible for designing, delivering, and owning enterprise integration solutions across the organization’s integration landscape.

This role combines strong hands-on technical expertise with a deep understanding of integration standards, governance, and SDLC processes, ensuring that solutions are reliable, scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational best practices.

This person will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, application teams, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and external partners to deliver high-quality integration solutions, primarily leveraging a multi-technology stack centered around Boomi as the core iPaaS platform.

The Senior Integration Engineer will:

• Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end integration solutions aligned with business and technical requirements, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and compliance with Integration CoE standards, SDLC, and governance practices;
• Work with enterprise integration technologies, including iPaaS platforms (Boomi preferred), APIs, messaging systems, managed file transfer, Databases, and Azure cloud services, applying best practices such as API-based, event-driven, messaging, and batch/file-based integration patterns;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to translate business needs into scalable solutions, while coordinating delivery activities, contributing to planning, estimations, and risk management;
• Provide L4 operational support, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement, while monitoring and optimizing integration performance to ensure reliability and efficiency;
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, reusable frameworks, and standardization initiatives within the Integration CoE.

A typical day will include designing and developing integrations, coordinating with stakeholders and partners, supporting deployments, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of integration solutions.

What you will need to succeed

As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field;
• +5 years of experience in IT Software Development or System Integration Environments;
• +5 years of experience in Integration Solution Architecture, Design, Development, and delivery using enterprise integration technologies;
• +3 years of experience coordinating delivery with internal teams or external partners within Agile or hybrid delivery environments;
• Experience with iPaaS platforms (such as Boomi (preferred), MuleSoft, Workato, Informatica and IBM) and messaging platforms;
• Experience designing and implementing integration patterns, including API-based integrations (including REST), messaging (including queues and pub/sub), event-driven architectures, and file-based or batch integrations (including SFTP, MFT, and cloud storage);
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems (including Databases, APIs, and business applications within supply chain, logistics, or enterprise environments);
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services in integration contexts (including Azure Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Entra, Azure DevOps);
• Proven ability to deliver reliable, high-quality integration solutions, including testing, deployment, and operational support (including L4);
• In-depth understanding of integration standards, Data formats, protocols, and transformation techniques;
• Solid scripting and automation skills (including Groovy, Bash, SQL – PL/SQL, T-SQL);
• Good understanding of governance, SDLC processes, and best practices in integration delivery environments;
• Excellent communication skills – Fluency in English.
