• We are looking for an experienced Senior Insurance Accountant.

Description

• Manage and oversee accounting activities for a designated scope of entities and accounts;
• Perform account analysis, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance;
• Prepare, document, and maintain robust audit trails and supporting records;
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather financial information and resolve accounting queries;
• Conduct financial analyses, identify key issues, and communicate findings to management;
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending and implementing process enhancements;
• Participate in period-end closing activities under local and international accounting standards;
• Review financial data quality and perform controls on accounting balances and transactions;
• Contribute to finance transformation and operational improvement projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams;
• Work closely with finance, operations, technology, risk, and control functions to drive efficiency and reporting excellence.

Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Economics, or a related discipline;
• 6 to 10 years of professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, or similar finance functions;
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls in a complex business environment;
• Experience with IFRS reporting and international accounting standards;
• Exposure to regulated or multinational environments would be advantageous;
• Good understanding of financial close processes and balance sheet management;
• Experience using ERP and accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar);
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
• Fluent English;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with international stakeholders.
