Adecco is recruiting a Senior Faculty Manager for a higher education institution. The role oversees and coordinates core Faculty Affairs operations across the full faculty lifecycle, ensuring efficient, consistent, and high-quality processes. The position provides strategic, consultative, and operational support to academic leadership and administrative teams, contributing to institutional strategy, policy implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives related to faculty management.

What You Will Do

  Supervise and coordinate Faculty Affairs operations across the full faculty lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, progression, evaluation, and mobility.

  Provide consultative and operational support to academic leadership, departments, and administrative teams, contributing to strategic decision-making related to faculty policies and processes.

  Contribute to the definition and implementation of institutional strategies, policies, and priorities, ensuring alignment with long-term academic and organizational objectives.

  Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives and projects related to faculty recruitment, integration, career progression, performance evaluation, and mobility.

  Act as a key liaison between academic and administrative areas, promoting process integration, alignment, and effective communication.

  Support governance, compliance, and best practices in academic administration and faculty management.

Your Skills

  Higher education degree; candidates with international academic qualifications must have formal recognition according to applicable national regulations.

  Professional experience in roles related to Faculty Affairs, academic administration, or similar functional areas within a higher education context.

  Strong knowledge of faculty lifecycle management, including recruitment, onboarding, evaluations, progression, and mobility processes.

  Experience in policy development, strategic planning, and implementation within academic or institutional settings.

  Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and optimize academic and administrative processes.

  Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with academic leadership and multidisciplinary teams.

  Experience in project management, continuous improvement initiatives, and institutional reporting.

  Familiarity with academic management systems, HR or faculty management platforms, and institutional databases.

  Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.

  Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to support strategic and operational decision-making.

  Awareness of academic governance best practices, compliance requirements, and the cultural diversity characteristic of high-performing academic environments.
