Senior AWS / Redshift Database Administrator

We are looking for a Senior AWS / Redshift Database Administrator to support and optimise mission-critical database platforms in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administration and support of AWS RDS and Aurora (PostgreSQL & MySQL) and Amazon Redshift
• Database installation, configuration and lifecycle management
• Performance tuning, query optimisation and workload management
• 360 support of the database layer across multiple services and projects

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in AWS-based, mission-critical environments
• Strong hands-on experience with RDS/Aurora and Redshift
• Solid background in performance tuning and optimisation

Nice to have

• S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch

Working model

• Shift-based role (10h coverage, 5 days per week)
• On-call rotation (approx. one week per month)
• Hybrid Working - 2 Days onsite per week in Porto
