We are looking for a Data Engineer (Remote - Portugal) ?

to join international projects where data is a key strategic asset - helping clients build and scale modern cloud data platforms (Lakehouse, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses), with a strong focus on performance, reliability and clean engineering practices.

Skills:

+5 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data & Analytics projects

Development skills in SQL (data transformation, optimization, modelling)

Python for data processing and pipeline development

Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration best practices

Databricks (Spark ecosystem) and scalable data processing

Cloud experience with Azure / AWS / GCP (at least one)

Understanding of Data Modeling (Kimball / Inmon / Data Vault)

Nice to have:

Data governance / data quality frameworks

CI/CD automation (GitLab / Azure DevOps)

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)

BI exposure (Power BI / Tableau)

Observability & monitoring for data platforms

Snowflake

Your Responsibilities:

Design, develop and optimize data pipelines aligned with business requirements

Contribute to scalable architectures (Lakehouse / DWH / Data Lake)

Ensure data quality, governance and documentation standards

Support KPI definition and business reporting enablement

Work in Agile teams, contributing to delivery, improvements and best practices

Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in international contexts
