Your New Mission 

• Building and managing end-to-end data pipelines and operations from ingestion and integration through delivery for the data products
• Design, code and maintain new and existing complex SQL stored procedures and functions within Snowflake 
• Performance tune existing stored procedures and SnowSQL scripts
• Diagnosing and resolving bugs
• Design, develop, and test moderate to complex ELT/CDC processes using a variety of tools
• Produce and maintain accurate project documentation for moderate to complex ETL processes
• Building and managing data pipelines in DBT, HVR, AWS, and Fivetran
• Optimizing existing processes for performance and cost
• Design, develop & test database views and stored procedures to improve performance in Snowflake in support of PowerBI users
• Create stored procedures in Snowflake
• Size and scope development needs for both operation and project initiatives
• Design, develop, test and implement transformations in Snowflake in support of PowerBI
• Support existing end-to-end data pipelines (150+) and operations from ingestion and integration through delivery of data daily
• Plan and execute secure, good practice data integration strategies and approaches
• Develop data integration mappings/workflows
• Data mart development
• Provide support to any pipeline, ELT, CDC issues throughout nightly runs for data extractions and updates 
• Create associated documentation with work as well as keep existing documentation updated
• Collaborate with other teams to map data fields to hypotheses and curate, wrangle and prepare data for use in advanced analytics models
• Involved in end-to-end data management bringing a desire to help move forward in best practices
• Mentor team members
• Work with senior management in strategic and tactical planning

What You Need to be Suceed

• 5+ years working on projects within the AWS cloud and familiar with common AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Event Bridge, Glue, SNS, etc.
• 5+ years data warehousing experience with cloud databases like Snowflake, Azure DW, or Redshift
• 5+ years building operational ETL data pipelines across several sources, and constructing relational and dimensional data models
• 5+ years working with operational and engineering data sources, preferably Oracle EBS3-
• 5 years strong development background with experience in at least two scripting, object oriented or functional programming language, etc. Python, Java
• 5+ years experience with SQL
• 3+ years’ experience building automated data quality and testing into data pipelines
• 3+ years’ experience working with data warehouse reporting technologies such as PowerBI, Tableau or Noetix Views
• 2+ years working with global teams in multiple locations, developing templates, communicating requirements, etc
• 2+ years in Apache Airflow a plus
• 1+ years experience in DBT a plus
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with data modeling, and architecting cloud solutions 
• Strong interpersonal skills – clear & timely communications, positive problem-solving perspectives
• Ability to solution and lead development projects
• Excel in team collaboration and working with others from diverse skill sets and backgrounds
• A deep personal motivation to always produce outstanding work
• Experience with at least one of the following:
• Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and/or Manufacturing data
• Must be a self-starter and ability to work independently
