We're Hiring: Senior Data Analyst Porto (Hybrid)

Are you ready to take part in data-driven transformation within the Corporate & Investment Banking world? Join us as a Senior Data Analyst to support a major client on key finance and data management initiatives.

About the role

You will play a central role in improving data quality, reporting capabilities, and analytical frameworks that support decision-making across finance departments. Working closely with both business and IT teams, you'll help ensure that data is accurate, accessible, and used to its fullest potential.

What you'll do:

• Analyze, clean, and structure data to support finance operations
• Build and maintain BI dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs and propose automation solutions
• Apply statistical models and advanced data techniques
• Support IT-led initiatives by contributing to data architecture and governance
• Promote best practices in data visualization and reporting

Key Projects:

• Financial data quality & integrity optimization
• Cross-team data reporting improvements
• Automation and visualization of finance indicators
• Support regulatory and internal audit requirements through data

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst in the banking sector, ideally within CIB
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, DAX, M, and Python
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data manipulation, and predictive analysis
• Experience working on IT/data projects in a complex environment

Language Skills:

• Fluency in English (mandatory)
• Other languages are a plus

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills across business and technical teams
• Ability to formalize complex subjects clearly and concisely
• Comfortable working in an international, fast-paced setting
