Quadrante is looking to strengthen its Water Utilities Department by recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer, based in Porto.

With both national and international projects across urban hydraulics, water resources, and agricultural hydraulics, Quadrante offers a unique opportunity to work on technically challenging and impactful projects within a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and actively contribute to the development of projects in urban hydraulics, water resources, and agricultural hydraulics, ensuring high technical quality and alignment with client objectives;
• Design innovative, sustainable, and efficient technical solutions, in compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices;
• Manage project timelines and resources effectively, ensuring delivery within defined deadlines and budgets;
• Support, guide, and supervise junior team members, promoting their technical and professional development;
• Develop and implement tools, methodologies, and work processes that enhance project performance and continuous improvement;
• Ensure coordination with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders, maintaining clear and effective communication.

Profile:

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Hydraulics and Water Resources), Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field;
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the design and development of hydraulic projects (mandatory requirement);
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit is valued;
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus;
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams and work with a high level of responsibility and autonomy;
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt to different types of projects and contexts;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
