The Role: Senior Business Analyst

Location: Lisbon

Work Model: hybrid - 2/3 days a week in the office

Sector: Financial Services

? Languages: English (B2 - C1) and French (B2-C1)

Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong IT background and fluent French to work on complex business and technology driven initiatives across multiple domains.

Mandatory Requirements (Non Negotiable)

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience as Business Analyst in IT Teams
• Experience with business and functional analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management
• Solid understanding of IT systems, technical architectures, and data flows
• Good knowledge of SQL and data analysis
• Experience with software testing methodologies and SDLC (Agile and/or Waterfall)
• Proactive, autonomous, and analytical mindset

Nice to have:

• Experience in banking or financial services (e.g. settlement, custody, KYC)
• Exposure to COBOL environments or legacy systems
• Experience with CRM/CLM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Knowledge of process optimization and system configuration/parametrization

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and delivery
• Produce and maintain documentation such as user stories, process maps, and functional designs
• Support testing activities including test preparation, execution, and UAT
• Analyze data, validate results across systems, and contribute to process improvement initiatives
