Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Lisbon

What You'll Do

• Develop and oversee accounting systems for both local and international entities.
• Manage core finance activities including invoicing, reconciliations, and month-end reporting.
• Ensure the business meets all statutory obligations in Portugal, including tax filings and regulatory submissions.
• Liaise with accounting and tax advisors across various countries.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Portuguese GAAP.
• Work closely with auditors, regulators, and other external partners in Portugal.
• Assist in producing reports for investors and internal stakeholders.
• Travel internationally for finance-related matters (roughly 10-20% of the time).

What You'll Bring

• Fluency in Portuguese and English (essential).
• Professional accounting certification.
• 5-10 years' experience in a similar role within Portugal, ideally with international exposure.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, Portuguese GAAP, and local compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with cloud-based finance systems is a plus.
