Your New Role
As a SAP HCM Payroll Consultant, you will play a central role in the implementation and support of SAP payroll solutions.
You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring the system, and ensuring payroll processes run efficiently and in compliance with Portuguese legislation. You will work closely with HR and IT teams, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and systems.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain the SAP HCM Payroll (PY) module
- Define and adjust calculation rules and wage types
- Execute and validate full payroll cycles
- Ensure compliance with Portuguese labor legislation
- Integrate Payroll with Time Management and Finance (FI)
- Analyze and resolve complex processing issues and incidents
- Support testing, audit, and documentation activities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Proven experience in SAP HCM Payroll (PY)
- Strong knowledge of Portuguese payroll legislation
- Experience in customizing / functional configuration
- Exposure to integrations with other modules (preferably Time and FI)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills and stakeholder interaction
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
Nice to Have
- Experience in end-to-end implementation projects
- Exposure to international environments
- Additional knowledge of SAP Time Management or FI
- Experience in support and continuous improvement environments
