Your new role
As an SAP FI/CO Consultant Specialist, you will play a central role in supporting the ongoing evolution of the organisation’s financial and controlling systems. You will work closely with both business and technical teams to design, configure, document, and optimise SAP processes, ensuring the smooth operation of S/4HANA and related business applications across multiple countries. Your contribution will help drive efficient workflows, improve system utilisation, and support key users throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
• Design, configure, and adapt SAP FI/CO solutions aligned with core business processes. • Conduct process analysis and gather functional requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders. • Prepare functional documentation, support testing phases, and assist in user training. • Provide guidance during unit tests and user acceptance tests to ensure quality outcomes. • Support international users in system utilisation, troubleshooting, and configuration queries. • Assist with pre–go-live activities and offer post–go-live hypercare support across global sites. • Respond to incidents and requests submitted through the service desk platform. • Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for optimisation within SAP processes. • Ensure accurate information flows by producing documents supporting system usage. • Act as a liaison between finance/controlling stakeholders and the technical teams, contributing proactive ideas and solution proposals.
What you'll need to succeed
• A degree in Information Systems, Management, or a related field. • At least 2–3 years of experience working with SAP FI/CO modules. • Solid understanding of financial and controlling processes (AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centres, Profit Centres, Profitability Analysis). • Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP). • Experience in SAP S/4HANA projects (implementation experience is an advantage). • Ability to analyse, structure, and optimise process flows (BPM knowledge desirable). • Proficiency in English; Spanish or French is advantageous. • Willingness to travel and take part in international initiatives. • Comfort working within multicultural, distributed teams, with a strong sense of responsibility and autonomy.
