• Be responsible for aligning the international Risk policy in Portugal;
• Report to the International Head of Risk and CEO.

Description

• Maintain and monitor the country's Risk Appetite and tolerance levels;
• Advise the General Manager and leadership on risk policies, risk identification, assessment, and decision-making;
• Support and maintain governance frameworks across Clinical, Finance, IT, Legal, Operations, Compliance, and People Services;
• Collaborate with Internal Audit (Enterprise Risk Services) on audits and action plans;
• Participate in M&A due diligence and ensure risk appetite is maintained;
• Ensure alignment with the company International's Risk Governance Framework;
• Act as liaison between local and international risk leadership;
• Manage the Country Risk Committee and maintain the Country Risk Register;
• Promote best practices and contribute to international risk workshops;
• Report and escalate risks to International HQ as per cadence;
• Drive a cultural shift towards proactive risk management.

Profile

• Academic degree in Economics, Management, Finance or similar;
• Previous work experience in Risk Management and/ or Corporate Governance minimum of 3 years;
• High proficiency in English;
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving;
• Ability to build relationships with senior management and diverse teams across
  different regions.
