Your new role
Are you passionate about financial reporting and team leadership? We are looking for a talented R2R Supervisor to lead a team of three professionals responsible for executing accurate and timely Record-to-Report processes. This role is central to managing general accounting, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous process improvements within our fast-paced Shared Service Center.
As the R2R Supervisor, you will oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes, build strong internal controls, and support system enhancements with SAP S/4 as the main ERP system. You’ll also have the opportunity to develop your team and lead process transformation initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Supervise the daily operations of a team of 3, providing coaching, feedback, and performance management.
Closing and Reporting: Manage all financial close activities, ensuring the accuracy of journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting in compliance with IFRS/US GAAP.
Operations Management: Oversee general ledger accuracy, intercompany reconciliations, and statutory reporting for assigned entities.
Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls, supporting compliance and risk mitigation.
Continuous Improvement: Drive process efficiencies across the R2R function, leveraging SAP S/4 and advanced Excel tools for automation.
What you need to be successful
Experience:
5–10 years’ experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
Hands-on experience in shared service and multinational environments.
Expertise in ERP platforms, with a preference for SAP S/4.
Education & Skills:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA or ACCA qualification is a plus).
Advanced use of Excel (pivot tables, macros) for data analysis and reporting.
Strong knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP and statutory compliance.
