Factory based in the Leiria District (West Coast), wants to hire a professional for the following position:

R&D Product Developer Assistant OEM

(Food Industry)

(m/f/x)

With direct report to the R&D Core Product Developer Manager, will have the below responsibilities:

Development of kitchen lab samples in line with project briefs;

Coordination and supervising factory trials;

Optimise processes improving quality and cost efficiency;

Records of pertinent information on shared drives and complete relevant NPD templates.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

- Degree in Food Science/product & process development;

- Practical experience in development of new products (FMCG);

- 1 year experience within a food industry environment (ideally in a technical role);

- Good communication skills both verbal and written are essential;

- Ability to prioritise work in a fast moving business;

- Good sensory skills;

- HACCP principles knowledge;

- Proficient in Microsoft Office ;

- Abilities to work in team mode;

- Fluent in English (written and verbal);

- Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
