Overall Responsibilities And Duties
- Work closely with customers, product managers, and cross-functional development teams to clarify and refine product requirements, ensuring they are testable and aligned with quality objectives.
- Design, develop, and update detailed test scenarios and test cases based on system requirements and user stories.
- Execute tests in diverse environments, including early-stage prototypes, Android-based in-car systems, and emulators to simulate real-world usage.
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing to uncover defects, inconsistencies, or performance issues in software builds.
- Accurately document test results, maintain detailed records of test executions, and create clear bug reports with actionable feedback.
- Actively participate in defect triage meetings, collaborate with developers for root cause analysis, and provide input for process and product enhancements.
- Respect and ensure, in a daily approach, the correct and full implementation of the Forvia Code of Ethics (Respect for fundamental Human Rights, Development of economic and social dialogue, Development of skills, Ethics, and rules of business conduct, if necessary, reporting infringements to the Code of Ethics).

- Perform other tasks that are similar or functionally connected and for which he/she has the required qualifications and competencies to help achieve the goals of the team/organization.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, preferably in the automotive or embedded software domain.
- Familiarity with Android-based systems and car emulator tools.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Attention to detail with a passion for product quality and end-user experience.
