About the Role:

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in validating applications, ensuring seamless data flows, and building automated test frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee the robustness of platforms and services that support large-scale operational environments.

What You Will Do:

• Perform functional testing on key applications, validating features, user flows, and business rules.
• Conduct data flow testing and inter-application management rule verification to ensure system reliability.
• Implement test automation using Selenium with Python, contributing to scalable and reusable testing assets.
• Prepare and execute structured test plans using Squash TM, and participate in defining test strategies.
• Support data ingestion testing (hot and cold pipelines), validation of datasets, and quality assurance activities in complex data ecosystems.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to continuous delivery and improved QA processes.
• Participate in data analysis tasks, leveraging Python and SQL to validate transformations and detect anomalies.

What You Bring:

• Strong programming skills: Python, SQL, Java, C/C++, Spark, NoSQL, and web fundamentals (HTML/CSS).
• Solid experience with Selenium, Squash TM, and Agile testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of Data & Big Data environments: Hadoop, Spark, Scala (basic), data processing and visualization (Python, Tableau, Power BI, ImageJ ).
• Experience with industry-standard tools: Jenkins, Airflow, Jira, Mantis, Confluence.
• Background in engineering with a Master's degree in Computer Science specialized in Big Data.
• Ability to analyze requirements, design structured testing processes, and ensure end-to-end quality.
