Must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Senior Database Administrator working with Oracle, SQL Server, and/or PostgreSQL
  • Strong experience in administration and incident resolution for Oracle databases (5+ years)
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with the following Oracle ecosystem technologies:
  • Oracle Data Guard (configuration and management)
  • Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) (administration and operations)
  • Oracle ASM and shared storage management
  • Oracle Restart
  • Oracle GoldenGate (implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting)
  • Experience managing, optimizing, and securing mission-critical databases
  • Experience with performance tuning and high-availability environments
  • Ability to collaborate with international DevOps and infrastructure teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Spanish mandatory (minimum B2 level)
  • English mandatory (minimum B2 level)
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
  • Availability for planned weekend interventions
  • Willingness to work on international projects
  • European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency.
  • Availability to go to the office, once or twice per week.


Nice to have:

  • Oracle Administrator Certified Professional certification (12c/19c)
  • Knowledge of Exadata or EXACS (Exadata Cloud Service)
  • Experience with more than one database engine:
  • SQL Server
  • PostgreSQL
  • Experience with high-availability and replication technologies
  • Familiarity with database monitoring tools and performance analysis
