Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Senior Database Administrator working with Oracle, SQL Server, and/or PostgreSQL
- Strong experience in administration and incident resolution for Oracle databases (5+ years)
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with the following Oracle ecosystem technologies:
- Oracle Data Guard (configuration and management)
- Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) (administration and operations)
- Oracle ASM and shared storage management
- Oracle Restart
- Oracle GoldenGate (implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting)
- Experience managing, optimizing, and securing mission-critical databases
- Experience with performance tuning and high-availability environments
- Ability to collaborate with international DevOps and infrastructure teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Spanish mandatory (minimum B2 level)
- English mandatory (minimum B2 level)
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
- Availability for planned weekend interventions
- Willingness to work on international projects
- European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency.
- Availability to go to the office, once or twice per week.
Nice to have:
- Oracle Administrator Certified Professional certification (12c/19c)
- Knowledge of Exadata or EXACS (Exadata Cloud Service)
- Experience with more than one database engine:
- SQL Server
- PostgreSQL
- Experience with high-availability and replication technologies
- Familiarity with database monitoring tools and performance analysis
