We are recruiting for a leading multinational group in the industrial sector that is looking to hire a Production Planning Manager to strengthen its team in Portugal.

 

Your role

• Plan and manage the production plan, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled on time and with the required quality.

• Lead and develop the team, ensuring alignment with business priorities.

• Monitor production capacity and identify and resolve material and resources constraints.

• Work in collaboration with the customer service, procurement and operations departments to optimise the production plan.

• Lead New Product Introduction projects, cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure efficient inventory management and minimise waste and/or obsolescence.

 

Ideal profile

• Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Management or similar areas.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Supply Chain and/or Planning;

• Experience in manufacturing industries;

• Resilient profile geared towards fast-paced and dynamic environments;

• Strong decision-making skills and ambition for growth and development.

• Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills.

• Fluency in English (mandatory).
