Now we are looking for a highly initiative Product Safety and Compliance Manager to help us with building and implementing procedures for product safety control, handling third-party requests, and staying up to date on overall market developments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce product safety and compliance policies (mainly for the EU market)
- Lead safety checks, risk assessments, and complaint resolution processes
- Monitor market trends to identify risks and regulatory changes
- Act as the main contact for regulators and safety authorities
- Represent the company at conferences and industry events
- Collaborate across teams and provide guidance to the key stakeholders
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in product safety and compliance, preferably in e-commerce or marketplaces
- Strong knowledge of EU product safety laws and consumer protection
- Proven ability to create and implement compliance policies
- Excellent English - written and spoken at an advanced (C1) level
- Confident communicator and presenter; comfortable with regulators and public speaking
- Self-motivated, flexible, and comfortable working in fast-changing environments
