Adecco is hiring a Product Intelligence and Sales training Consultant for Europe, based in Lisbon, Portugal. The role supports Mitsubishi FUSO Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) Japan in managing the product portfolio in the EU region. The position requires strong technical, research expertise in the commercial vehicle field and the ability to coordinate cross-functional activities in a multi-cultural environment. The consultant will work closely with the Product Strategy team at HQ and with the Sales team in the markets to ensure successful product definition and compliance with European market standards. The role also involves product development, Sales training, Product Management software development and lifecycle management within the commercial vehicle industry. The consultant will report to the Head of Product Management, Europe.

What you will Do?

 

• Support the business unit in identifying the right-fit products for each market including suitable options and standards
• Support MFTBC Japan in developing product roadmaps and strategies for commercial vehicles
• Work closely with the Sales team, dealerships, distributors and customers to gain high understanding of the customer needs and use them to define the products and services
• Organize market research and competitive benchmarking for product opportunities
• Propose product specifications and support engineering teams in new product development

      Ensure high-quality product training delivery through a Train-the-Trainer approach

• Support in developing and maintaining Product Management systems crucial for sharing product information to customers and bodybuilders

Your Skills

 

• Bachelors degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, A Masters or business degree will be advantageous
• Three or more years of experience in product management or application engineering in the commercial vehicle industry
• Strong technical understanding of commercial vehicle platforms, applications and sales argumentation
• Effective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
• Willingness to travel for market visits and Product research

      Experience as a trainer or teacher, preferably in automotive-related industries will be advantageous

• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Japanese or other European languages is advantageous
