Principais responsabilidades

• Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas to assess factors affecting component designs and evaluate its applicability
• Design, develop and deliver product with a focus on feasibility, quality, performance and cost-effective
• Align product features with customer needs while supporting operational reliability
• Collaborate with customers and internal engineering teams to refine requirements and translate them into actionable technical tasks
• Evaluate materials and specifications, defining best suitable solutions
• Create and maintain clear technical specifications, and implementation guidelines
• Define acceptance tests to validate product functionality and performance
• Developing detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software
• Determine the need for prototypes
• Modifying and revising designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems
• Preparing documentation for design projects, ensuring all necessary files and records are maintained accurately
• Track and communicate progress / backlogs, and inform management about risks and deviations
• Continuous monitoring of the market and competition, identifying relevant trends regarding product, design and materials, and translating these into appropriate measures
• Maintaining close customer and market contacts
• Staying updated on new CAD technologies and incorporating them into the workplace to enhance production and design processes.

Perfil desejado

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
• 3+ years of experience in product engineering, software development, or a related role
• Proficiency in the latest CAD software
• Proven ability to deliver features across the full product lifecycle from design to production
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Knowledge of system design principles, scalability, and performance considerations
• Experience with testing methodologies and creating reliable test suites
• Effective communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and specifications
• Proactive attitude to identifying improvements and managing technical risk
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands
