What will be your mission?

 

As Doorman, you will be responsible for servicing guests outside at the entrance or in the hall of the hotel and for the provision of simple security tasks. This includes, transport and take into custody of the baggage and giving general information about hotel facilities and the operation of equipment.

What will you do?

 

• Be present at the entrance of the hotel and open the door for guests entering and leaving the hotel.
• Assist guests to get on and out of vehicles, as well as loading and unloading luggage.
• Ensure a controlled and orderly hotel entrance, managing disruptions and notifying security if regarded as necessary.
• Coordinate, alongside the Front Office team, baggage management, valet and transportation services for guests.
• Organize transportation for guests, including pre-booking services (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus).
• Park and lower guest cars, from the parking lot, as well as maintaining them clean and ready for usage.
• Be aware and communicate hotel services available and general safety information.
• Be knowledgeable and communicate places of interest of the city, such restaurants, museums and monuments, providing directions, recommendations and reservation options.
• Ensure to keep the front office team and management team fully informed of feedback and suggestions given by guests and other departments.

What are we looking for?

 

• Previous experience in hospitality would be preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Fluency in local language is a must and knowledge of English highly valuable.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledgeable about the local area.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
