Cascara Coffee Shop, a beautiful and vibrant café in the heart of Ponta Delgada, is looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team.

We are searching for a professional with creativity, dedication, and leadership skills to shape the future of our pastries.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and execute a seasonal pastry menu that complements our speciality coffee and elevates the customer experience.

• Lead and inspire a small kitchen team, ensuring smooth daily operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and efficiency.

• Uphold the highest standards of presentation, taste, and hygiene.

• Work hand-in-hand with the owners—hospitality professionals with over 20 years of experience—bringing passion, innovation, and commitment to every dish.

• Manage stock, suppliers, and costs effectively to maintain a well-organized and profitable kitchen.

Perfil do Candidato

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role, preferably in high-quality cafés, bakeries, or restaurants.

• Strong skills in both classic techniques and modern pastry trends.

• A creative mindset with the ability to design original and exciting menus.

• Natural leadership qualities, with the ability to guide and motivate a small team.

• Reliability, attention to detail, and pride in delivering excellence every day.
