Packet Core Engineer - is that you?

Mobile Packet Core network (5GC/EPC/PS) 3-year experienced engineer;

Understanding of Telecom & IT Network Technologies;

Familiar with 3GPP documentation and 3G/4G/5G message flows;

Familiar with EPC/PS network architecture and connectivity to other elements;

Knowledgeable of Packet Core protocols (e.g.: S1AP/NAS, DNS, GTP, Diameter, Radius, HTTP);

Knowledgeable of the VoLTE solution;

Hands on experience working with AMF/MME/SGSN and UPF/S-GW/P-GW/GGSN;

Understanding of 5G NSA core solution;

Knowledgeable of virtualization concepts and environments (NFV/vEPC, Hypervisor, VMware, Openstack, VIM);

KPI analysis, Optimization and troubleshooting experience;

Preferable knowledge in DNS, AAA and PCRF;

Preferable knowledge in OSS and tracing tools (e.g.: U2000, NetAct, Wireshark);

Preferable vendors experience: Mavenir / Huawei / Ericsson / Nokia;

Qualifications:

Electronics/Telecommunications/Computer Engineering BSc or MSc degree;

Certifications from Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, or Cisco are a plus;

Location: Portugal, Lisbon

Customer facing experience in Telecom operators

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Portuguese and English)

Ability to plan, organize and prioritize the responsibilities.

Good team player and with highly proactive skills;
