Our client is a multinational organisation with a strong presence in the financial sector. The Global Security & Risk team plays a key role in protecting the business from operational disruptions, including natural disasters such as earthquakes. The team is based in Lisbon or Porto and currently includes 4 members.
Your New Role
Reporting directly to the Area Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Global Security Framework & Transversal Activities
- Promoting risk identification and supporting preventive/corrective actions.
- Developing and enforcing normative documents and guidelines.
- Designing and delivering training and awareness programmes.
- Supporting a strong security and risk culture.
- Enhancing reporting frameworks and contributing to relevant committees.
Business Continuity & Crisis Management
- Acting as Alternate Business Continuity Officer and Crisis Officer.
- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of the business continuity strategy.
- Ensuring formalisation, follow-up and reporting in line with Group requirements.
- Participating in continuity exercises and strategy testing.
Physical Security
- Aligning physical security practices with internal guidelines and identified risks.
- Advising and supporting the implementation of people and premises security measures.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, Audit or similar.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Internal Control or Risk Management.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication, listening and learning abilities.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and work independently.
- Comfortable in a multicultural environment.
- Curious, adaptable and flexible.
