Ferring is opening an IT Center of Excellence (CoE) in Lisbon, Portugal, to build and operate a new global ERP platform and we are looking to attract qualified and motivated candidates. To enable Ferring to keep up with new demands, changes and business needs, we are now recruiting a professional team that will implement the new ERP in countries throughout the world as well as its central and support functions. The ERP program is expected to run for at least four years and the scope of the new team’s work will include global implementation, as well as on-going operation and maintenance. In addition, the IT CoE in Lisbon will be an integral part of Ferring’s Global IT Function.





Your new Role

The Office Coordinator will report to the HR Manager, and the purpose of your role is to ensure that office operations run smoothly and efficient to support business activities. You will support Senior Management in regular admin tasks with a minimum of guidance and direction. Also, you will define and follow up office/facilities management procedures to ensure max efficiency and quality of service. This includes amongst others: monitor office supplies, inventory, expenditures and handle office contracts; responsible for Internal Communication relative to Facilities; manage and optimize relevant work processes within areas of responsibility, ensuring timely and high quality service and administration, deal with office/facilities/general support vendors, conduct service briefings, analyses proposals and recommend/procure selected partners; make travel arrangements for local staff, organize events, internal and external meetings, conferences, visits from guests; make the follow-up of the budget, resources and cost, coordination of costs and reports.





What you'll need to succeed 

We are looking for a talented professional with 5 – 10 years’ experience in a similar role, in these environments. Fluency in English is mandatory, and fluency in other languages is an advantage. You will also need to be proactive, collaborative, have excellent writing and communication skills. You must be a strong believer in service and support to superior and his/her team.
