Responsibilities:
- As a Backend Engineer focused on API development using NodeJS, you'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable APls using serverless technologies like AWS Lambda.
- You'll collaborate with relational databases and integrate with third-party systems to enhance and expand our platform's capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with large-scale systems and a variety of NodeJS APls will be highly valued.
- Your work will directly shape a reliable and innovative backend infrastructure that supports our bold growth plans.
- Architect and develop cutting-edge APIs.
- Take ownership of applications and backend services.
- Contribute to building high-quality software within your team.
- Ensure code quality and functionality through comprehensive testing.
- Play a key role in technical decision-making for our products.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in API development using NodeJS and TypeScript.
- Proven ability to build high-quality software with a strong focus on testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with various testing approaches (Unit, Integration) using Jest.
- Exposure to AWS services.
- We operate in a global environment. Therefore, you need to speak English fluently - additional language skills are of course an advantage.
- European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency.
- Two times per week at the office in Lisbon
