Our client is a leading Investment Bank based in Portugal. They upgrading their Murex platform and as a result are looking to hire an experienced consultant on a long-term contract basis.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business users to understand their requirements to solve business problems.

• Translate these requirements into a Murex workflow, working with other IT teams, local and otherwise, to make data processed and available for users.

• Develop the workflows following the IT software development governance rules.

• Analyze, estimate, and define tasks necessary deliver the data projects.

• Maintain and do the evolution of created assets during the projects.

Main Technical Requirements:

• BS/MS Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, or a similar area;

• Experience in data preparation and data reconciliation

• Proven experience in Alteryx or Murex, and VBA

• Murex experience: + 2 years

• Good Knowledge of SQL;

Other Requirements:

• Good communication.

• Able to be quickly autonomous, proactive.

• Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory)

• A real passion for learning, doing things better and helping others, and an ability to turn ideas into realities.

• Availability to travel abroad for short periods of time, as required.
